Man on the Tracks 1956

Also known as Czlowiek na torze, this movie is tough to review, I could not get interested, it's black and white with subtitles which requires paying attention.  You have to be interested in Polish politics under Stalin and also interested in trains.  A man is found dead on the train tracks, it is a recently laid off train engine driver.  There is an investigation into the death to determine if he was killed or he committed suicide.  Men who knew the driver are interviewed to give their opinions about him.  Fitting into society is an important aspect.  2* (I did not like this movie)

86 min, Mystery & Suspense directed by Andrzej Munk with Zygmunt Zintel, Roman Klosowski, Janusz Bylczynski and Kazimierz Opalinski as Orechowski.

Note: Blockbuster 4*, imdb 7.1 out of 10, 88% audience Rotten Tomatoes
