In the 70's a French family's business is making umbrellas, the employees go on strike and take their boss hostage. The wife is a homemaker but she steps in to take over the business when her husband becomes ill after the kidnapping. She turns out to be much better at running the company.This is supposed to be a comedy but it isn't funny, Catherine Deneuve still looks beautiful and she's a good actress but Gerade Depardieu has gained a considerable amount of weight and he is not even reasonably attractive? 2* (I didn't like this movie)
