A werewolf roams the forest surrounding a village, Valerie's sister is killed by the wolf. Valerie was planning to run away with Peter after the announcement of her arranged marriage to wealthy Henry. The villagers kill a wolf but it is not a werewolf, they send for a famed werewolf hunter. Panic and suspicion grip the village when they learn the wolf could be one of the villagers.As soon as I saw the setting of a medieval village, I wanted to stop watching. My first instinct was correct, this is not good. Overacting, poor acting, ridiculousness. 2* (I didn't like this movie)
100 min, horror directed by Catherine Hardwicke with Amanda Seyfried, Billy Burke, Gary Oldman, Virginia Madsen, Max Irons, Julie Christie.
