Trainspotting 1996

Trainspotting (1996)    A young man with few prospects and fewer ambitions lives in economically depressed Edinburgh.  He's a heroin addict living in blissful nothingness supporting his habit by theft.  Many times he has tried to stop using and finally he moves to London, finds a job and rents a flat.  This doesn't last when his former friends land on his doorstep with a plan.
This is rough around the edges and everywhere else!!  Every sentence has more swear words than regular words.  What really is the point of this movie, to make sure you don't try to follow in this lifestyle?  The ending is different that I thought it would be.  2 1/2* (This movie is so-so)

94 min, Drama directed by Danny Boyle with Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd, Kelly MacDonald, Finlay Welsh, Kevin Allen, Eddie Nestor, Dale Winton.

Note:  Blockbuster 4*, imdb 8.2 out of 10, 89% critic 92% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
