Mrs. Todd comes to ask Hercule to help her find her missing cook. At first, Herucle thinks this job is not his style and beneath his stature but he changes his mind. A short time later, Mrs. Todd dismisses his services and remits the fee of one guinea. This causes Hercule to become infuriated that his services are worth so small a token to Mrs. Todd!! He’s not going to stop until he finds this cook and gets to the bottom of this case!!
There is a lot more happening than a
missing cook. Poirot, Hastings
and Japp all become involved; can this missing cook be connected to a recent
bank robbery? This is good; the
little gray cells get a workout.
4* (I really liked this movie)
