Act of Vengeance 2010

Also titled Five Minarets in New York:
Act Of Vengeance     After an unsuccessful and bloody raid in Istanbul, two Turkish anti-terrorist agents are sent to New York City on a mission to bring back a notorious terrorist.  He is known only as Dejjal which is Arabic for Anti-Christ.  The FBI and NYPD have arrested a suspect who may or not be the notorious Dejjal.  When the prisoner escapes, events escalate and the foreign agents must take things in their own hands to avert disaster.
This film has a lot of action with raids, machine guns, rockets, cars blown up, overturned, torture and a lot of violence.  The message driven home throughout the film is that not all Muslims are terrorists but is this believable?  Has a made for TV feel.  3* (This movie is OK)

97 min, Drama directed by Mashun Krirmizigul with Gina Gershon, Danny Glover, Robert Patrick, Haluk Bilginer, Mustafa Sandal, Scott William Winters.

Note:  Blockbuster 3*, imdb 6.0 out of 10, 36% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
