Foyle has a new boss,
Sir Alec Meyerson. Sir Alec asks
Foyle to investigate the death of three Russian defectors. They were all in a supposedly safe
house. Then, another Russian is
dying and collapses in a hospital.
His last words were “Ten Eye.”
The doctor who tried to save him is later murdered after asking Foyle to
pay him a visit. Adam Wainwright is
running for election and while campaigning, he discovers the daughter of one of
his constituents is missing.
I thought this was
much better than the first episode (The Eternity Ring) of the new series. The detail and plot twists are easier
to follow and it’s more interesting.
Foyle discovers who
betrayed the Russians and killed the doctor. 3 ½* (I liked
this movie)
