This
film covers the last two years of Diana, Princess of Wales. It is based on the book Diana: Her Last
Love by Kate Snell. This was the
time of her divorce and she started a secret relationship with Pakistani heart
surgeon Hasnat Khan. There are some scenes of Diana with Dodi Fayed.
I’m
not sure what is truth and what is fiction in this film? The basis is the theory that Diana is
the Queen of Hearts. Nothing is
shown of Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth II and other royals. Her sons are shown from a distance in one scene. The other
reviews have really thrown the low marks at this film. It is very soap opera and I did wish
for more actual truth. 2 ½* (This movie
is so-so)
