Escape Plan 2013

Escape Plan

Ray Breslin has made a career of escaping from high security prisons.  He is the world’s leading authority on structural security.  He has accumulated a large array of survival skills in order to escape and assist in the design of prisons.  His boss double-crosses him and he’s placed in a master prison.  His team members don’t know where he is and his tracker was removed when he was kidnapped.  He meets up with a very hard-nosed warden determined to keep Ray inside this prison.  He also meets up with Rottmayer and he wants to escape too.
Stallone and Schwarzenegger are not too bad in this film because their age doesn’t matter.  There is a lot of fighting because this is prison after all!!  There are some different aspects thrown in but mostly done and seen before.  I wonder if Stallone could get his hair and eyebrows blacker?  Have either of them ever thought of aging gracefully?  3* (This movie is OK) (Not as BAD as I expected)

115 min, Action directed by Mikael Hafstrom with Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, 50 Cent, Jim Caviezel, Faran Rahir, Amy Ryan, Sam Neill, Vincent D’Onofrio, Vinnie Jones, Matt Gerald, Caitriona Balfe.
