Dr.
Will Caster and his wife Evelyn are working together in the field of Artificial
Intelligence. They are trying to
develop a machine able to express all human emotions along with knowledge
of everything ever known. Will has been made a target of terrorist groups believing in
anti-technology. They are afraid of a takeover of mankind by this type of machine. Will is wounded
by one of these groups and he dies.
Emily and their friend Max Waters upload his essence into their
machine. They can't be sure this is really Will and his thirst for
knowledge as a machine also involves a need for power. Electrical power and control of the world.
I
have a problem with the music and cinematography of this film. The score
keeps yelling, “This is a GREAT movie!” But, this isn’t a great movie? How many times does destruction
rebuilt by Will need to be shown and the length of the film is also too
long? Everything about this film seems superficial? 2 1/2* (This movie is so-so)
