Rich boy Harold keeps staging elaborate fake suicides to get the attention of his mother. His favorite thing to do is attend funerals for people he doesn't know. He goes to a junk yard, buys a hearse and fixes it up to drive to the funerals. He meets 79 year old Maude at one of the funerals, he's low key but she doesn't know how to be low key in everything. They strike up a friendship, Harold finds there can be an entirely different way to live your life. Cat Stevens music is the soundtrack. This is very funny and is very good. Maude has an unusual style of driving and she doesn't believe in driver's licenses? 4* (I really liked this movie)
