Blu is a macaw who was raised from a baby in Moose Lake by Linda, he was originally smuggled from his nest. They receive a visit from an ornithologist who has a female bird like Blu in Rio de Janerio. He wants Blu to come for a visit since they are the last two birds of their kind. Soon after their arrival, the birds become victims of a bird smuggling ring and another complication is that Blu doesn't know how to fly? How can Blu be reunited with Linda?This is good, the birds are funny, Linda is overprotective as a human bird mother, the ornithologist is definitely geeky and there are bad birds out there too. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
