Adapted from Evelyn Waugh’s 1930 novel,
Vile Bodies. The setting is
London, writer Adam has his first manuscript seized by customs. He was counting on making enough money
from this novel to marry Nina. His
next step is to seek funding by attending a constant stream of parties, meetings
and conversations with friends.
You can't connect with the characters and
you begin to not care what happens or how this ends? It just becomes tedious as it moves along and it’s not a
comedy either. 2* (I didn’t like this
movie.
