Ellis, 15 years old, is leaving Tucson, Arizona to start
college at the same East Coast prep school attended by his estranged
father. He has been living with
his new age mother Wendy and the only father he’s known, Goat Man. Wendy doesn't have time to be a mother, she's too busy with self help rituals. Goat Man lives in the pool house, grows his own pot and teaches Ellis about stability, commitment and expanding of the mind.
I like Vera Farmiga as an actress but this
film is not a comedy, there isn’t anything funny. Don’t you need to have lives in order to make a movie about
the lives of people? The only
thing to capture your interest are the goats and at least they have the title!! 2 ½* (This movie so-so)
94 min, Comedy directed by Christopher
Neil with Graham Phillips, David Duchovny, Vera Farmiga, Justin Kirk, Ty
Burrell, Keri Russell.
Note: Blockbuster 1 ½*, imdb 5.4 out of
10, 20% critic 42% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
