Married best friends Celeste and Jesse are getting a divorce. They have been separated for six months
but they still do a lot together every day. They don’t even think about it until their engaged best
friends tell them that they can’t take their togetherness any more!? Celeste is a driven Type A marketing
whiz and Jesse is an unemployed struggling artist with a slight case of
irresponsibility. Jesse begins
dating again and Celeste starts going on dates of her own. Most of her dates are not going very
well. Jesse seems to be having
better luck.
A lot of drama packed into 92 minutes. Seems to have the need to be constantly in situations. Needs more character development and
less scattered unremarkable moments.
3* (This movie is OK)
92 min, Drama directed by Lee Toland Krieger with Rashida
Jones, Andy Samberg, Ari Graynor, Eric Christian Olsen, Rob Huebel, Elijah
Wood, Shira Lazar, Emma Roberts.
Note:
Blockbuster 3*, imdb 6.5 out of 10, 69% critic 69% audience on Rotten
Tomatoes.
Special Note: This could be a continuation of 2 Days in New York with no children and the relatives have gone back to France.
