Blu
and Jewel have three kids and they live with Linda and Tulio in Rio de Janeiro. They think they are the only family left of
rare blue macaws but they learn there are more of their kind 2000 miles away in
the Amazon rainforest. Jewel and
the kids are glad to be out in the forest and they love it. Blu is having a difficult time fitting
in but he’s trying. There is a lot
more danger and it’s compounded by a group of men illegally logging the trees
in the forest. Nigel from the
first Rio is unable to fly but still seeking revenge.
There
is are a LOT of characters, a LOT of singing and a LOT of plot twists going on in
this film. Some are very funny and
others just OK. It is interesting to try to guess the voices. I would imagine
that many kids would not see any problems with this film? 3* (This movie is OK)
