This
film is based on a novel by Donald E. Westlake titled The Hunter. Walker was double-crossed on Alcatraz
when the spoils were supposed to be divided up after a robbery. Instead he was left for dead except he
wasn’t dead. He sets out to enact
revenge and obtain the $93,000 that was stolen from him. One of his problems is that he is one man
going against a large-scale operation.
Walker doesn’t care what the consequences are or what he needs to do for this
vendetta. In one scene he wrecks a car to show how
much he means business. In a short time they want to give him back the money but they can't figure out how to do it safely? Maybe,
Walker really died on Alcatraz? 3*
