A
single and hard working New York advertising executive dreams of a perfect
life. Holly Maddux has the perfect
job, she just needs the perfect man to sweep her off her feet and provide the
perfect life for her. She’s on a
deadline for a before Christmas job and she gets tripped up by sidewalk
traffic. She falls, hits her head
on the concrete and wakes up to see the perfect man helping her up. Is there such a thing as too
perfect? Can being perfect all the
time require being someone you are not?
Isn’t there pressure to constantly be perfect?
Is
Beau, the perfect man really a department store window mannequin come to
life? Are his parents and
ex-girlfriend also mannequins? Everything
about them is perfect all the time, hair, teeth and clothing. Beau knows fashion designers and the
seasons of their work. This film
would be better if it didn’t telegraph the ending at the onset. I could see what would happen just from
watching the first few scenes. 3*
