Cut
Bank, Montana is known as the ‘coldest spot in the nation.’ Dwayne McLaren and his girlfriend
Cassandra are out in a field and he is making a video of her. In the background they see the local
postman being shot twice with a gun.
They ask Sheriff Vogel to come out and look at the film. There hasn’t been a murder in this town
in his entire career as the sheriff.
He calls for the Postal Inspector to come to Cut Bank since there is a
$10,000 reward for information concerning a crime against a postman. Dwayne has been looking for a chance to
escape Cut Bank since he graduated from high school several years ago and he's hoping the money will make this possible.
This
film is listed as a thriller but I would not put it in that classification? I don’t think a slow pace and not much
life in a film would be called a thriller? Everything goes wrong that can go wrong but it’s draining to
wait for the conclusion. 2* (I
didn’t like this movie)
