This film is based on
a novel by Pamela Wallace published in 1996. Jordan Donavan is a photographer and she lives in New York. She is very disappointed with her boyfriend
Edward Morgan. She expected to get
a marriage proposal on her birthday after five years of being together. She gets a key to his apartment
instead? Edward isn’t ready to
commit to marriage. Jordan will be without a place to live if she moves in with him and
they don’t like living together? Her
friend answers a matchmaking advertisement in a magazine for Jordan sent in by
Tyler Ross, a horse rancher in Wyoming.
Jordan decides to fly to meet Tyler, even if she isn’t a match for him,
it could give Edward a push toward marriage? Jordan and Tyler don’t know that Tyler’s sister posted the
ad for him? Tyler lost his wife
and baby daughter and he hasn’t gotten over his grief. He’s very blunt and Jordan doesn’t
think they have a chance for a relationship. She does
get to experience ranch life and she takes a lot of good pictures of the
beautiful country.
