Sage finds out she is
pregnant, she’s not ready for a baby and she’s still in high school. Her boyfriend was supposed to give her
$630 so she can go to a clinic but he didn’t show up. Sage goes to see her grandmother Elle
Reid to see if she can give her the money. Elle has just broken up with her girlfriend Olivia and she’s
missing her long time former partner Violet who died. Elle has cut up her credit cards, she paid off all of her
bills and she doesn’t have the money.
She will be getting money soon but not in time. Sage doesn’t want to talk to her mother
about this and Elle doesn’t want to talk to her daughter either because they are both afraid. Elle and Sage set out to try to come up
with the money before Sage’s appointment for this same day.
Grandma doesn’t take
any sass or backtalk from anyone!!
The time span in the film is about eight hours and it covers a lot of
ground and people. Elle wants to
help Sage but she realizes what they do today will follow Sage for the rest of her
life. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)
