Alan
Hunley is the Director of the CIA and he persuades a Senate committee to disband
the IMF (Impossible Mission Force).
This is the group with Ethan Hunt, William Brandt, Benji Dunn and Luther
Stickell as key team members. Hunley
believes the IMF is too reckless and they don’t have sufficient oversight on
their operations. The disbanding
of the IMF leaves Hunt on his own and without backup to track down a rogue
organization known as the Syndicate.
This group is killing heads of state, destroying major companies and
setting off explosions.
I
like the scenes where a character is acting as a different person with a mask
that you can’t tell they are wearing.
They’re a few of those scenes in this film (possibly only one). I believe that Tom Cruise and Rebecca
Ferguson are not riding the motorcycles in a chase scene. I have only seen the first MI of 1996. Rebecca Ferguson can do the fight
scenes as well as Cruise. He
maintains the MI running style throughout the film. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)
