Gary Newman travels
from San Jose to Paris. He is
there for business meetings and he will fly to Dubai the day after the
meeting. His hotel is right next
to the airport runway and he can see the planes landing and taking off from his
room. Of course, he’s suffering
from jet lag and he does speak some French but he has an interpreter at the
meeting. Gary is up in the night
and he starts to make some life changing plans. In the morning, he calls his company and tells them he is
quitting his job and he doesn’t get on his flight to Dubai. He calls his wife and tells her he has
quit his job, he is also quitting their marriage and he has two children. He says he just cannot do this
anymore.
I’m not sure the
changes Gary wants to make are in his best interest and if he has thoroughly
thought them through? He does
grieve over causing others pain. Despite
these surprising major changes in his life during the course of this film,
everything else seems to be on track.
Then, suddenly everything changes and this film gets really unusual and
it is about birds. 3* (This movie
is OK)
