Nathan Burr is 20
years old and he’s currently having a tough time. He was laid off from his job and his girlfriend didn’t see that they had a future together. He
decides to fly to the city where he was born. He was raised in foster homes and he doesn’t have a birth
certificate. He’s hoping to track
down his mother and get his birth information.
He visits the City Clerk to see about getting the birth certificate and
the woman tells him it will take a little while but she thinks she can gather
the information. He checks into a
nearby inexpensive hotel and he meet Mave. She is the maid at the hotel and she always comes in his room to wake him
up when he wants to sleep. He also
meets Shelly and she doesn’t know anything about her mother either. She volunteers to go to the library
with Nathan and see what kind of information they can gather about themselves.
There is a twist in
this film that I didn’t see coming but then I realized I was just missing it
from the beginning. Mave has a
very positive attitude and she tries to pass that on to Nathan to keep him
motivated to continue his search. 3 ½* (I
liked this movie)
