Anna is in her
forties and she spends summer holiday with her friends Verena and George. Anna is staying at their Tuscan
villa but she hangs out with the teenage siblings and their cousin
Oakley. Everything is going well
until there is uproar about the teens stealing a car and Anna tells
George. Now Anna’s situation is
that she observes the family as an outsider, unrelated to them and from a
distance. She is especially shunned by the teens.
The dialogue seems to
be ad lib but it was scripted. There is a very slow pace to this film but the scenery is very beautiful. Anna is having problem in her life but she doesn't discuss this with Verena until the end. Verena is hurt because Anna hasn't spent any time with her. She feels Anna is her oldest and dearest friend. 2 1/2* (This movie is OK)
