The Easter Bunny has a teenage son,
E.B. He doesn’t want to deliver
the eggs for Easter this year because
wants to be a drummer in a rock ‘n’ roll band. Fred accidentally hits E.B. with his car!! E.B. plays up his injuries (he doesn’t
have any) and he talks to Fred.
The talking totally freaks out Fred and E.B. convinces Fred to take him
home. Fred is a adult jobless
slacker and he still lives with his parents!! His parents and his sister Sam have decided an intervention
is needed with Fred. They’ve told him
he has to leave their home, find a job and live on his own. Sam offers to give Fred the keys to her
boss’s home. He’s away on vacation
for two weeks and Sam was supposed to get the mail plus take care of two dogs. There are a lot of restrictions
for Fred to stay in this fabulous home!!
Behind the scenes at Easter Island, the head chick Carlos wants to take
E.B.’s place and deliver the eggs on Easter?
There are some
moments that adults will get but children hopefully will not!! There are some really funny moments!! Especially when Fred and E.B. are
together and back at Easter Island.
There is another animated movie about an animal wanting to play
drums, it’s Rock Dog of 2016. Bodi is a young Tibetan Mastiff and he
is expected to be the next guard for the Village of Snow Mountain. He leaves to meet British rock legend
Angus Scattergood. 3 ½* (I liked
this movie)

Note: Filmed in Los Angeles and
Thousand Oaks, California. There
are 92 different companies with product placement spots in this film!! Is the most of any film so far? The legend of the Easter Bunny came
from German Christian traditions but popularized by the Brothers Grimm. It was almost a year between the theater release and home media release and this is one of the longest times for
an animated film. This is the
third film in 2011 to go beyond the $100 million mark. The others were Rango and Just Go With
It. During the film’s release, an
E.B. stuffed toy was available from Build-a-Bear and included drumsticks.
