Mitch and Michelle
Davis moved to Los Angeles because Michael wanted to be a
scriptwriter. They have three
children, Christian, Rachel and Kinsey.
Michelle talks to Mitch because he is always gone, he’s always working
and he’s not writing. He’s reading
the scripts written by other writers.
The entire arrangement isn’t good for their marriage and not good for
their children. Christian is
having trouble with bullying in school and Michelle thinks a dog might help
him. Soon after, a dog
shows up at the school and Christian brings him home. He fits right in the Davis family and they name him
Pluto. Mitch and Michelle make a
big decision to move to Colorado.
Mitch arranges to
take nine-year old Christian, Smitty and Clark on a camping trip in the
mountains. They get lost several
times but they setup their tent and it starts to snow. Just a short time later lightning
strikes the tent. Mitch and Pluto
are struck by the lightning. I
liked this movie and I thought it was a good family film. The parents are working together for
the good of the children. I was
surprised about the ending and I would’ve liked a different take on the
ending!! 3* (This movie is OK)
