A young elephant is
very curious, he goes into a village and the people were trying to drive him
away. This behavior stopped when his very
large mother came to rescue him. Then, he followed a rabbit and his mother was not able to find him. A young orphan boy discovers him and
they become a family. They have
some jobs along the way to earn money but they end up at the Academy of Art. Elephants are trained here to become
painters and the art is sold to tourists.
Lucky doesn’t want to paint flowers like the other elephants and his surprising natural talent causes
a stir at the Academy.
This is a good family
movie, some tension concerning what will happen to the boy and the elephant but
all ends well. Filming is done
in Thailand and a first time acting job for Khunchan in the role of the orphan boy. 3 ½* (I liked
this movie)
