Joey Miller is a
popular MC for weddings plus Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies. He lives in Detroit city and he’s a
single father deeply in debt financially. He’s
planning on doing the Bat Mitzvah for his daughter Julie and the date will be soon. There is a fire at his latest
wedding gig and the fire destroys his all of his equipment. Joey contacts his shady Uncle Morty to see if he has any
money? Morty gives Joey the idea
of stealing Joey's grandmother Rose’s prized and secret dill pickle recipe. Rose runs a deli/café and her pickles
are the draw for the customers. No
one can make a better dill pickle than Rose!! She doesn’t even allow anyone to watch her during her pickle making process.
There are a lot of
the same events repeated in this film?
A lot of effort is put into schemes that will not result in getting the pickle recipe. I don’t see how Joey and Morty can justify their sleaziness and their behavior
since Rose is a cherished relative? If Rose
wanted any family members to have the recipe, she would give them the
recipe personally!! 2 ½* (This movie is
so-so)
