The Mee family is going through a difficult time after the loss of their wife and mother. Dylan is expelled from school, Benjamin can't look at any of the places he went to with his wife. Rosie is only seven but she really misses her mom. Benjamin decides they all need a new beginning, they set out to look for a new place to live for a start. Everything doesn't seem like it's a fit until they come to one house and it's the perfect fit. The only problem, it's a zoo?
This film has a lot going for it, star power, kids, animals but it's slow, predictable, a lot of looks instead of dialog. Maggie Elizabeth Jones is a great little actress. It is enjoyable if you just go along for the ride and let it play out. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
