Officially, Apollo 17 was launched 12/17/72 and was the last manned NASA mission to the moon. This is a found footage style film exploring the urban legend surrounding NASA's canceled trip to the moon after 1972. Is it possible there was an Apollo 18 mission that did land on the moon and proof of extraterrestrial life exists on film?Seems very real throughout the film, even Snopes has checked out this legend and you can check their results at their site or Wikipedia. A big question in this theory is how could a rocket launch out of Florida with a manned mission without people in Florida seeing anything? 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
