Frank was sent to prison more than once for stealing jewels but now he’s
retired. He is having difficulty with
his memory and his son has a long car drive on the weekends to come to check on
him. Since this takes place in the
“near future,” his son brings Frank a robot home health care aid. Frank is really upset and doesn’t want
anything to do with the robot until he learns the robot doesn’t really know right
from wrong and what stealing means.
The robot is a lot more likeable than Frank. They make deals with each other, the robot will help Frank steal
if he will change to a low-sodium diet.
There are a couple of twists at the end. I would like to have a robot like this to take over all my
household chores, maybe even errands!!
