Valentin
is a playboy living in Acapulco.
He doesn’t work, he just entertains the ladies. This comes to an abrupt halt when one of his “forever loves”
leaves a baby girl with him. He
gives her $10 for a cab and she never comes back. He traces her to a hotel in Los Angeles and he hitchhikes
with his daughter to find her. He
learns she has left for school in New York. He raises Maggie for six years in Los Angeles and supports them as a top
stunt man in Hollywood. Julie,
Maggie’s mother, calls suddenly and she wants to see her daughter.
Julie
doesn’t want a baby and then suddenly she wants to be a mom six years
later. This film has a twist at
the end that you don’t see coming.
Interesting, good and entertaining with different relatable characters. Beware though, Derbez is slightly like
Jim Carrey. 3 ½* (I liked this
movie)
