One of the world’s best restaurants is holding its final evening and then it will close its doors. There will be 30 diners invited to this Catalan restaurant located on the coastal region of Costa Brava in northeastern Spain. Two of the guests are a couple finalizing their divorce and they made their reservation one year ago before their separation. Another guest is a recently widowed countess and she’s doesn’t want her deceased husband to miss the experience so his urn accompanies her.
This
film sits on the fence, it doesn’t tell enough about the food being served and
it doesn’t fill in enough details about the people. Only a couple of the dishes are identified and a few
exclaimed over for their wonder. I
think I could pass on snail caviar as one of my courses? 2 ½* (This movie is so-so)
