Loosely based on a
novel by Liz Tuccillo, she is also the author of He’s Just Not That Into
You. Alice has been dating Josh
for a long time. She decides she’d
like to separate for a while, she thinks she’s never been single and
she would like to before they get married. What she doesn’t know is that Josh will move on and he will
start dating someone else. Alice doesn't have a choice about finding out what it’s like to be single now. She gets a job at a law firm and she meets Robin, if
anyone knows how to be single its Robin.
Alice has been living with Meg but her landlord finds out and this
is a one-person apartment. Now
Alice has to find a place and live by herself too.
Alice meets other singles in New York but a lot of times she still feels
alone. The character played by
Wilson is over the top but seems one-dimensional and she sometimes gets on your
nerves. A lot of holidays are
thrown into this movie too? 3*
