Clavius is a powerful
Roman Military Tribune and he is assigned the job of finding out what happened
to the body of Yahshua after his death.
His aide Lucius needs to help him disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah
to prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.
The Roman’s are already having many problems and clashes with the Jewish
people. Barabbas has headed a
revolution by the Zealots.
This is a fictional
retelling of a Biblical story but I do find fault in the order of some of the
scenes. They are not accurate in
chronological order and the story about Barabbas is inaccurate. There is graphic violence and it really shows
the level of torture and inhumane treatment by the Romans. 2 ½* (This movie is so-so)
