This film is inspired
by a true story and the setting is in Alaska and it’s also titled Falling in
Love Again. Susannah Stanton has
been divorced for two years and she’s wondering if she’s made a mistake? Susannah felt bored and lonely at the
ranch where they lived because of the isolation. Her ex-husband, Jesse Stanton is featured on a magazine
cover and he starts getting bags full of letters from admiring women!! They are attracted to Jesse because
he’s handsome and an Alaskan rancher and sportsman. He hosts guests at the ranch for fishing and tracking. Susannah has opened her own
restaurant in Anchorage but she feels her life is lacking something? Maybe she’s a little jealous that Jesse
is getting so much mail and attention?
They have three children, two daughters and a son. There is teenager Bridget, young Hannah
and young Sam. The kids start
thinking about taking matters into their own hands about the circumstances
their parents!!
This movie seems like
a Hallmark or Lifetime movie but it’s not? Jesse does a lot of flying from his ranch to Anchorage. Their three children have caused confusion
within the family. They wrote a
letter to a popular magazine called Alaskan Love about their Dad. They didn’t realize their Dad would be
inundated with letters from interested women!!! Usually, reconciliation after a divorce is not common and is
unlikely to happen for most divorced couples. 3* (This movie
is OK)
