The setting of this film is
Los Angeles, California. There are
five different stories and they include their dogs. Elizabeth is a newscaster of a morning TV show. She has a disastrous interview with Jimmy, he's a
former basketball player .
Elizabeth is very surprised to learn the next day that Jimmy is now under contract as
co-host?? Tara works at a coffee
shop near the office of veterinarian Dr. Mike. He's very handsome and he also has money. Later, Tara helps Garrett, he is the owner of an animal care
center but the building is being sold. Tara is going to sponsor a pet adoption day for the dogs and
to raise money for Garrett's business. Grace
and Kurt are very nervous about the arrival of their first adoptive child,
Amelia. Dax is an adult but he
acts like a teenager. He’s taking
care of his sister’s dog since she has just given birth to twins. There is a problem, his building
doesn’t allow pets?? Walter is an
aging widower and he misses his wife terribly. He hired Tyler to walk his dog but unfortunately the dog
runs away. Grace and Kurt have found
Walter’s dog but they are afraid to hurt Amelia by telling her the truth about
the dog.
There is a LOT going
on in this film with many plots.
The dogs are cute and interesting plus their individual stories are also
interesting. But, we also need to
be spoon-fed the correct emotions and feelings about each story, person and dog??? In reality, it’s easy to see how the
plots are going to end. This is a
feel good movie so how could they end badly?? The dogs are the best actors and they tell their own stories. Almost all of the actors could be classified as the
mostly young, fit, and pretty with upper middle-class lives in Los
Angeles. How could they possibly
be boring or have problems?? 3* (This movie is OK)
