Amber
and her daughter Bree have been going through a difficult time. Darren Hill, Amber’s husband and Bree’s
father was killed in Afghanistan.
Amber used to be active in their church but now she’s working at Rosie’s
Diner on Sundays. She’s very
worried they will have their hour foreclosed too. Amber’s mother-in-law lives nearby but she seems to always
be giving Amber a difficult time.
They have a lot of friction between them.
There is one question
I have about this film? Usually, a
US serviceman killed in combat has an insurance policy and the funds are given
to the immediate family. It is
usually $100,000 without taxes? Didn’t
Amber get this money? She could
have used it to pay on the house?
But, that would make a big hole in the plot?? 3* (this movie is OK)
