LAPD homicide detective Harry Bosch is tense and
restless about trying to find clues about his mother’s cold case
murder. Along with this case, a homeless veteran is murdered. There is
a high-profile trial involving a Hollywood director. The case about
the murder of Tony Allen is coming together. A suspected killer that
Bosch has pursued for several years turns up dead in an apparent
suicide? Edgar tries to handle damning evidence against Bosch. Deputy
Chief Irving is mulling over taking the Chief job or going on to greener
pastures? There is a secret effort to try to frame Bosch. Deputy
Chief Irving weighs in on the investigation of the “Koreatown Killer.”
There is another crisis related to Bosch and Deputy Chief Irving steps
in. The department rallies but there is no honor among thieves. The
Meadows case is reaching its end.
Once again, a LOT is going on
at the LAPD. Bosch swings back and forth from the in dog house to back
on the good side!! Edgar also swings back and forth on what thinks
Bosch is up to. Is he on their side or not? What about George Irving?
Will he be able to keep his real undercover status hidden from the
dirty cops? 5* (I really liked this series)
