Faces in the Crowd 2011
Anna is walking home from a seeing her two girlfriends when she sees a woman murdered by a serial killer. Her phone rings just at the wrong time and he comes after her. She falls off a bridge in a construction area and hits her head on the way down to the water. She doesn't have amnesia when she wakes up after a week in a coma but she has prosopagnosia which is face blindness. She has a lesion on her brain that causes this neurological disorder that prevents her from recognizing faces. Each time she looks at a face, it looks different.
Everything in Anna's world is turned upside down in an instant, she's petrified that the killer will come after her and she doesn't know how to function in her job and her life without knowing who anyone is. This is interesting because of the twist of her little known condition. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
