Three different generations during the 20th century and three different love affairs. Each section of the film uses a style of film making associated with the time period portrayed. The central man and woman are played by the same actors in each of the generations.This movie seemed almost unwatchable? Talking and talking and not saying anything? Doesn't seem believable, is exaggerated and self-indulgent. 2* (I didn't like this movie)
