Adapted from a fact based novel by Phillippe Grimbert. As a sickly young child, Francois knew he was a disappointment to his champion swimmer mother and gymnast father. His discovery of a strange toy in the attic causes him to question Louise, a masseuse and long time friend of the family. She tells him that he had a half brother and both his mother and father had been married before until their lives were changed by the war.This is good, the story goes from the 30's to the present, a sudden choice changes everything. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
