Jonathan, Joa, Beth and Posey
are living in and managing a seaside resort hotel on the coast of England. Emelia ducks into the hotel after
getting a ride home because she doesn’t want the driver to know where she
really lives. Beth mistakes her
for a new cleaning lady and Emelia starts to work. Jonathan is an author with severe writer’s block and he
offers to teach Emelia about writing.
Emelia and Beth are opposites but both 17 years old and they strike up a
friendship.
I liked this movie and
thought it was better than 2*? There
are a lot of complications, Jonathan’s family is very different from Emelia’s
family. She’s had a lot of hard
knocks and lives with her grandparents.
3 ½* (I liked this movie)
