Cam
Stiles has been playing football for years and he has a chance for a college
scholarship because of his skills. Gary, his dad has
been his high school coach and Gary feels this is the only way they will be able
to afford college for Cam. John, Cam’s best friend is a runner, he’s focused,
determined and really good. Cam
talks John into going to a party, he doesn’t want to go because he doesn't want to drink and he has training in the morning. They lie to their parents and say they
are going to a movie. A local
police officer calls Gary because he thinks members of the football team are
drinking at a party. John left the
party early and a car on the road hits him as he’s walking home. Cam is devastated and he believes it is
his fault John is hurt.
This
is a good story with good lessons in life for teens. Mistakes can have very severe consequences and they can change your life permanently. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)
