Greg is
seventeen-years old and he doesn’t have any friends except Earl. Greg doesn’t want to admit that Earl is
a real friend that he’s had since childhood? They make unusual movies together
and they wonder why they are still making them? Greg’s mother tells him that Rachel from his school has
leukemia. She wants Greg to visit
with Rachel and he doesn’t want to.
He forces himself to go but then he keeps going. Greg and Earl make a movie for Rachel
as a tribute.
There were times I
didn’t think there was enough to this film to keep watching? I have a problem with the ending too
because of a promise made much earlier in the film? The reviews show that there is ambiguousness within critics
too. Like or hate? 2* (I didn’t like this movie)
