This
film is a fictionalized version of true events leading to the development of
the RB2000 Rocket Belt in 1995. Curtis
Prentiss enlists the help of his friend Kenny Owenby and rocket scientist Rick
Honeycutt to develop a working model of a personal jet pack. Curtis is the brains, Kenny is the
money and Rick is the science.
I was surprised about
the very low reviews for this film?
As I like to say, “This isn’t rocket science?” But, wait, maybe it really is!! This film reminds me of the television series Halt and Catch
Fire about computer development. There are both funny and puzzling
moments in this film, I was a little surprised about the final scenes? A one-line sum up of this film is,
“There is a sucker born every minute!!”
