Shuffleton's Barbershop 2013

This film is also titled A Way Back Home and the idea for the story came from a 1950 Norman Rockwell painting.  A small town in Georgia welcomes home Trey Cole.  He didn’t realize Charlie Shuffleton had passed away two months ago but he’s come back to see him and thank him.  Trey's father was in the military and Charlie became an important figure in Trey’s life.  Trey’s brother was also joined the military and he was killed.  He left behind a wife and a young son.  Trey is happy to reconnect with all the people in his hometown except his father.  There are a lot of bad feelings between them.
This is very home town in it’s style.  Everyone knows everybody and all they can find out about each other.  Trey became a famous singer but it was too much about money and fans.  There wasn't enough about the music and writing.  Sometimes you can go home again!!  3 ½* (I liked this movie)
