This film is based on
true events. Rachel works very
hard and she’s trying to climb the corporate ladder. She receives a raise, a promotion and a larger office for
her work landing a new client for the firm. Rachel rarely takes any time for herself but she goes out
with her two girlfriends to celebrate.
She gets a little bit drunk and her friends try to talk her into leaving
with them but she won’t listen. Another story alongside the story of Rachel is about
Jordan, he is an elderly man in the hospital. He’s not expected to live but
background information is given about him and his family. The Germans rounded up Jordan’s father during WWII
but he managed to escape from the train.
He was adopted by an older couple and moved to America.
There is a LOT going
on in this film and Rachel, Jordan and Jordan’s father have a lot in
common. Jordan was always
different and he never fit in. His talent was that he could play the accordion. Is Rachel going to continue to stress
herself over her job every day? What
happened to Jordan’s father after he came to America? The stories are interesting and you wonder how this film is
going to turn out. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
