This
film is based on a novel by Julian Barnes. Tony Webster is divorced and he is still somewhat friendly with his ex-wife Margaret. They have an
adult daughter who is expecting a baby. Veronica is Tony's former girlfriend from college and her mother Sarah Ford has recently passed away. Sarah left Tony her diary and Veronica hasn’t been
forthcoming with turning it over to him.
There is are a LOT of complications and a LOT going on in Tony’s
life. He also runs a small camera
shop.
This film goes back
and forth in time from college to the present day. I’m not sure why this film was made? The story is very light and the rest is just about relationships. I'm not sure how this film attracted such a high-powered cast?? 2* (I didn't like this movie)
